# RFO Annual Forum 2025: Event Recap

A family office is a dedicated organisation managing a family’s investments, governance and philanthropy.The RFO Annual Forum 2025 has successfully concluded in Hong Kong. The forum brought together family office professionals for in-depth exchanges on core topics including family governance, wealth succession and cross-border asset allocation, exploring the future direction of the industry.

Representatives of single and multi-family offices from the Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Singapore and the Middle East, together with private banks and professional service providers, gathered to exchange views on asset allocation, next-generation development and governance practices in the current global macro environment.

## China Family Office’s Perspective

The forum once again confirmed the rapidly rising demand for international exchange within China’s family office industry. China Family Office will continue to organise and support cross-border industry events, building bridges between Chinese families, professionals and their international peers.

## Key Industry Data

China’s wealth management market reached RMB 179.33 trillion in 2025, the second largest worldwide (Sina Finance, Jan 2026).

The global family office market was worth US$20.6 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach US$38.1 billion by 2035 (Research Nester, 2025).

The global family office market is projected to grow at a 7.1% CAGR from 2026 to 2035 (Research Nester, 2025).

Hong Kong hosted more than 3,380 single family offices by the end of 2025 (InvestHK / Deloitte).

Cross-border wealth booked in Hong Kong is projected to grow 9% a year from 2025 to 2030, the fastest globally (BCG, 2026).
